A Reliable Source of Power for Defence Systems

Military Batteries, Chargers and Power Systems

Bren-Tronics is a leading American company that develops power solutions for military and other demanding applications where equipment performance depends directly on a reliable source of power.

The company's portfolio includes rechargeable batteries, power sources for military radios, portable chargers, batteries for military vehicles, power solutions for sensors and robots, and complete power systems. Bren-Tronics has been developing power solutions for military applications for more than 50 years.

Why Bren-Tronics?

Reliable Performance

The batteries are designed to operate in demanding environments and meet the high-performance requirements of military equipment and electronic devices.

Extended Use

Rechargeable batteries reduce dependence on disposable batteries and enable the repeated use of equipment in field environments.

Technology Built for Demanding Conditions

Some battery systems operate across a wide temperature range and are designed to provide a high level of resistance to water and other environmental conditions.

Power for a Wide Range of Equipment

Bren-Tronics batteries are used in radios, sensors, robots, unmanned systems and other military electronic equipment.

Solutions Tailored to Specific Requirements

Alongside its standard products, the company develops batteries and power systems tailored to specific technical requirements.

Portable Military Power Systems

Modern military equipment includes radios, night vision devices, GPS systems, sensors and other electronic equipment that require a continuous supply of power.

Bren-Tronics portable batteries and chargers are designed to power precisely these types of devices. The portfolio includes batteries in a range of capacities and formats, including the BB-2590/U, BB-2557/U, NETT+ and other models designed for military use.

Power Systems for Military Radios

Radio communications are among the most important means of communication in military operations, making a reliable and stable power source essential to the performance of radio systems.

Bren-Tronics manufactures batteries for a range of military radios, including the AN/PRC-148, AN/PRC-152 and other systems. Some battery models are designed to operate across a wide temperature range and are compatible with different charging systems.

Power for Sensors and Unmanned Systems

Reconnaissance sensors, robots and unmanned systems often operate in locations where conventional sources of electricity are not available.

Bren-Tronics batteries are used to power remote sensors, surveillance equipment, robots and small unmanned systems. The portfolio includes both individual batteries and portable power systems.

Power Systems for Military Vehicles

Modern military vehicles rely on an increasing number of electrical systems — including communications, sensors, control systems and other electronic equipment.

Bren-Tronics 6T batteries are designed for military vehicles and are available in different power and capacity configurations. Lithium-ion 6T batteries provide a lighter alternative to traditional lead-acid batteries and can be used in both manned and unmanned military vehicles.

Chargers and Power Management

A reliable power system involves more than just the battery itself. Safe and efficient charging is equally important, particularly when equipment is in continuous operational use.

The Bren-Tronics portfolio includes portable and military-grade chargers, adapters and power delivery systems. These solutions enable different types of batteries to be charged and provide power in field environments.

High-Capacity Power Systems

For military systems with higher energy requirements, Bren-Tronics manufactures high-capacity batteries and energy storage systems.

Brenergy™ range is designed for applications such as military and tactical vehicles, robotic systems and other equipment with high energy demands. Some models provide capacities of up to 5 kWh, and multiple batteries can be combined to create a larger energy reserve.

Customised Power Solutions

Not every military system has the same power requirements. For this reason, alongside its standard products, Bren-Tronics also develops batteries and power systems tailored to specific technical requirements.

The company has developed specialised power solutions for a range of equipment and applications, including underwater systems and other specialised uses.
