HUMVEE — A Multi-Purpose Military Vehicle

HUMVEE The HUMVEE is AM General’s most recognised and widely used military vehicle. Its key advantage is versatility — a single base platform can be adapted to meet a wide range of operational requirements.

The HUMVEE can be used for transporting personnel and cargo, medical evacuation, and the installation of communications and reconnaissance systems, as well as for carrying weapons and other mission-specific equipment. Its key strengths include high mobility and the ability to operate effectively across challenging terrain.

HUMVEE 2-CT and 4-CT — Platforms for Cargo and Specialised Equipment

2-CT and 4-CT are more specialised HUMVEE variants. Their primary differences lie in payload capacity and the scale of applications they are designed to support.

HUMVEE 2-CT is designed for transporting lighter payloads and equipment. It can be used as a transport vehicle or as a platform for the installation of various military systems.

HUMVEE 4-CT offers greater payload capacity. It can be used to transport or integrate heavy equipment, weapon systems and specialised modules.

4-CT Fastback is a specialised 4-CT configuration designed to accommodate a protected cabin, additional armour and the integration of various military systems. It can be used both as a tactical transport vehicle and as a carrier platform for weapons or other specialised equipment.

JLTV A2 — A Next-Generation Vehicle Designed for Protected Mobility

JLTV A2 belongs to a different class of vehicle from the HUMVEE. Its primary purpose is to provide protected mobility for personnel and military payloads in high-threat environments.

The JLTV A2 places particular emphasis on crew protection, armour, protection against mine and blast effects, as well as the ability to carry heavy weapons and additional military systems.

It can be used for patrol operations, the transport of combat teams, tactical cargo transportation and the integration of heavy weapon systems.

HUMVEE Saber — An Armoured HUMVEE for High-Threat Missions

HUMVEE Saber is a more protected and armoured version of the HUMVEE. Its primary purpose is to protect the crew and passengers in environments where the protection provided by a conventional tactical vehicle is no longer sufficient.

The Saber can be used for patrol operations, the transport of military personnel, checkpoint protection and missions requiring both armour protection and high mobility.

Its platform can accommodate a range of communications, reconnaissance and weapon systems.
